Coin Miner 2 Details, RTP and Volatility
Unlike traditional online slots, you’ll find no conventional reels or rows in this game. Instead, the Coin Miner 2 slot is a 5×5 grid of 25 tiles. The aim is to select a square and hope to reveal a coin, while avoiding the mines. You can keep playing for as long as you dare, with ever-increasing rewards up to a maximum of 2,000x.
Wagers for this arcade-style game cover a decent range that should suit the pockets of most players. The lowest bet you can place is a mere $0.20, while the maximum is $100 per game.
Since this isn’t a traditional slot machine, there’s no volatility level. Instead, you select the number of mines you wish to include on the grid. Play it safe with just one, or ramp up the risk to a maximum of ten bombs. The more you include, the greater the variance involved.
Finally, according to the Gaming Corps website, the RTP of this game is comfortably above the average for slots, pegged at 97.04%.
Theme & Graphics in Coin Miner 2
As mentioned earlier in this Coin Miner 2 review, Gaming Corps is the developer behind this fun title. They specialize in developing arcade-style and crash casino games, although they do also produce traditional slots and table games.
The layout of the Coin Miner 2 slot is straightforward, with no unnecessary frills. A 5×5 grid is washed in hues of blue. Pops of gold appear when clicking to reveal the coins and star symbols. Overall, it has a bit of a retro appeal, with bright and crisp graphics, plus excellent sound quality.
To the right of the grid, you’ll find all of the game settings, including the mine selector, bet amount and autoplay feature. The top-right corner is home to the menu, where you’ll find the paytable, game info and a tutorial.
Coin Miner 2 Slot Features
Since this game has no bonus games, we’ll only discuss its symbols in the next part of our Coin Miner 2 review.
Symbols
All of the 25 tiles in this game are hiding either a coin, a star or a mine. With each round, the position of the symbols is randomized, making each choice unpredictable and exciting.
Coins
If you uncover a coin, a multiplier is awarded based on the number of mines in play. This multiplier progressively increases with each consecutive coin that is successfully revealed.
Coin multipliers can range from 1.01x up to the maximum payout of 2,000x. After each reveal, you may choose to keep going and try to uncover more coins, earning a higher final payout. This continues until you strike a mine, at which point the game ends, or you choose to cash out your winnings.
Lucky Star
If you reveal the Lucky Star, a random number of additional coins are automatically revealed. The amount of awarded coins ranges from one to five, and all of them add additional multipliers to your progress.
Mines
Should you uncover a mine, the game is over. All of your progress, mined coins and initial wager are lost. It is, therefore, important to cash out before hitting a mine.
How to Play Coin Miner 2 Online
Playing Coin Miner 2 is easier than it might seem at first. Just like other games at online casinos, you’ll start by locking in your chosen bet amount. Use the plus and minus buttons to cycle through the different stakes.
Once you’ve set a wager, pick the number of mines you want to place on the grid. Remember: the greater the number of mines, the higher your potential multiplier could be. But at the same time, the game will be harder to win and there will be a higher level of variance.
Next, select the tiles you want to uncover by clicking on them one at a time. However, if you prefer, an auto-play option allows you to preselect certain tiles to play each round. To randomize tile selection, use the button with the intertwining arrows.

Coin Miner 2 Review – Our Final Verdict
What makes the Coin Miner 2 slot so interesting is that the gameplay is effortless yet exciting. It’s also a little nostalgic for those of a certain age, taking us back to the old days of playing Minesweeper on a chunky PC.
We have to say, though, we much prefer this modern version, especially since it has a top prize of 2,000x. The graphics are bold and sleek, and the sound quality is perfect.
While there are no bonus features as such, the star symbol does enhance the gameplay somewhat. This randomly appearing symbol can add between one and five coins to the grid, leading to much bigger wins. We also enjoy the ability to customize the number of mines and, therefore, the risk.
Overall, it’s a fun game and with a generous RTP of 97.04%, the chances of winning are decent enough. We don’t doubt that Coin Miner 2 will be a crowd-pleaser.
