Epic Dreams Details, RTP and Volatility
Relax Gaming retains the dynamic six-reel grid from Sloth Tumble, where the number of rows ranges from two to six. This creates up to 117,649 ways to win in what is a high-volatility game.
Spin from $0.10 to a hefty $200 per turn for a shot at the 5,000x maximum potential win. The RTP is a fairly average 96.10%, which rises to 96.50% when using the Feature Buy option.
Theme & Graphics in Epic Dreams
Unlike other animals, the sloth is a rare sight in real money slots. Still, Chip proved popular in Sloth Tumble, so Relax Gaming have brought him back for more.
We wonder if the developer has borrowed some inspiration from Flash, the sloth character in Disney’s Zootopia. Either way, he’s a charming character in his own right. The pleasant jazz soundtrack, however, is definitely reminiscent of Toy Story.
The game starts with Chip experiencing a eureka moment, and it seems like he’s going to develop his own adventure park. That’s the theme of this slot, which involves building up or digging down.
Epic Dreams Slot Features
This section of our Epic Dreams review highlights the key features and mechanics of this slot.
Regular Symbols
There are nine regular symbols, split into three sections. Playing card suits are the lowest-paying. Each of these returns 0.10x to 0.40x for three to six matching symbols.
Purple, green, yellow and red gemstones are the mid-tier symbols, paying between 0.20x and 1.50x. Chip is the highest-paying icon, and the only symbol to return a payout for two on a payline. He pays up to 4x for six-of-a-kind.
Wilds and Scatters
A letter “W” serves as the wild. It substitutes for regular paying symbols to form wins. There are no scatter symbols.
Tumble
This feature causes symbols involved in a win to disappear. The remaining icons and fresh symbols drop down to fill the empty spaces, continuing until no more winning combinations form.
Coin Symbols
Randomly, coins with multiplier values can land among stone block symbols. If a tumble destroys the blocks and activates the row on which the coin lands, the multiplier is applied to the tumble win.
Bonus Pick and Super Bonus Pick
Every stone block row features an active reel which may or may not contain a regular symbol. If such a symbol forms part of a tumble win, the stone blocks on the row are destroyed.
The Bonus Pick feature triggers when you destroy all non-active rows. If there are Super Bonus stone blocks on the bottom row, the Super Bonus Pick is activated instead. In each case, you can select between the Dig Bonus or the Build Bonus, or their respective super versions.
Dig Bonus and Super Dig Bonus
You’ll start with five free spins, plus an extra spin for every three rows with stone blocks destroyed. After demolishing consecutive rows of stone blocks, more are added, up to a total of four rows. Destroying 50 cumulative stone blocks triggers the maximum win.
At random, stone blocks may hold treasure chests with one of the following rewards:
- Wild Add: Includes a wild in one to three active reels.
- Coin Add: Replaces stone blocks with one to three coins symbols
- Upgrade: Increases the value of one to three existing coin icons.
Unlock a treasure chest with three super orbs to trigger the Super Dig Bonus. Here, you’ll receive five free spins, with more for destroying stone block rows.
However, if you entered the Super Dig Bonus from the start, you’ll earn ten free spins, with two extras for every third stone block destroyed.
Build Bonus and Super Build Bonus
This feature begins with three respins. For each round, three symbols drop to the bottom. Fill a row with symbols to earn a payout and move up a level, while the respins counter resets to three.
There is a multiplier ladder to the right of the reels that tracks your level. Wins are multiplied by the value of your current ladder. Reaching the top of the ladder automatically pays the 5,000x max win.
Coin symbols may also appear, increasing your win. Random treasure chests could also land, activating the following features.
- Filler: Fills one to three rows with symbols, guaranteeing wins.
- Coin Add: Only coin symbols drop, improving win sizes while the spins counter stays frozen.
- +1 Drop: One extra symbol lands per round.
If a treasure chest contains three super orbs, the super version triggers and the respins counter resets to four instead.
How to Play Epic Dreams Online
Use the plus and minus buttons to set your bet size. Click the circular arrow to spin. Flanking the spin button to the left and right are turbo mode and autoplay icons, respectively.
To win, land matching symbols on adjacent reels, beginning with the leftmost. You may use the Feature Buy to skip the wait and trigger the bonus features automatically. This costs 50x for regular bonuses and 250x for super bonus games.

Epic Dreams Review – Our Final Verdict
In contrast to Sloth Tumble‘s monstrous 100,000x payout, Epic Dreams offers a rather pedestrian 5,000x top prize. But that’s the only criticism we can offer in what is a very enjoyable game.
Contrary to the sluggish nature of sloths, this game is packed with activity and excitement. From the quest to break through stone blocks, to the diverse choice of bonus options, there’s plenty going on. And with such a loveable main character, what’s not to like?
