Gift X Details, RTP and Volatility
The Return To Player rate of Gift X is usually 97.00%, though we’re aware of a lower-value 94.00% version. In addition, the game’s volatility is described as medium to high. However, this isn’t a casino slot, so you won’t find any reels, rows or paylines.
It’s actually a crash game, so the aim is to hold out for as high a multiplier as you can get. The largest possible payout is 10,000x your stake. Play from as little as $1 per game, though higher rollers will appreciate the maximum stake of $100.
Theme & Graphics in Gift X
Christmas is right up there with the most popular slot themes, and the concept of Santa delivering gifts lends itself well to a crash game. Right before a round begins, his elves load up the sleigh with presents, before the reindeer set off into the moonlit Christmas Eve sky.
It’s certainly a fun idea, and the presentation is simple but entertaining. I won’t get tired of that weird little noise the elves make, though I don’t find it quite as amusing as Santa seemingly does whenever he crashes. It’s almost like the “ho ho ho” is mocking me for losing – yet again.
Gift X Slot Features
The features and mechanics of this crash game are really simple, but let’s run through them anyway.
Bet Selection
Use the buttons below the playing area to choose a stake from $1 to $100 and tap “Place Bet” to confirm. If a game is already underway, the bet will be configured for the next round.
At some casinos, it’s possible to configure two bets for the same round, which is a nice touch. Tap the plus symbol to open up a second section on the configuration panel.
Auto Cashout
Tap the three blue lines beside the stake to see your automatic cashout options. These range from 1.05x to 10.00x and are entirely optional. If you select an auto cashout value, your bet will be settled as soon as Santa reaches that figure.
Leaderboard
As other players place bets, their usernames appear to the right of the main game screen. The number beside each identity indicates the size of their respective bets.
Once a player cashes out, the figure showing their stake changes to the amount won from this game round.
Regular Symbols
If you came here thinking that Gift X was a slot, you’ll be more disappointed than finding a lump of coal in your stocking. This is a crash game, so there are no symbols of any kind.
Wilds and Scatters
Similarly, there are no special symbols like scatters and wilds, as Gift X is a crash game, not a traditional casino slot.
The closest things you’ll see to special symbols are the gifts which Santa tosses over the side of the sleigh. These represent the prizes awarded to other players as they cash out.
How to Play Gift X Online
Like all crash games, the concept of Gift X is extremely simple. As Santa flies through the night sky, the green multiplier on screen continues to increase. You can sell your original stake at any time, for whatever value is shown on screen. Hit the light green “Cashout” button to do so.
However, if you don’t get out before Santa crashes, you’ll lose the lot. If you like, you can set up an automatic cashout using the icon containing three blue lines.
Place up to two bets at a time using the buttons beneath the main playing area. You may also configure an unlimited number of automatic plays using the “Auto” button in the bottom-left corner.

Gift X Review – Our Final Verdict
There’s not really much to say about Gift X. It’s a crash game, and I think everyone knows how they work by now. There’s only so much scope for innovation with these simple casino games, so don’t expect any Earth-shattering developments here.
The design is cute, though I couldn’t help but notice the lack of a red nose on the lead reindeer. Shocking attention to detail by the developers. Completely ruined my Christmas dinner.
Is Gift X fun to play? Yes, absolutely. Is it infuriating when Santa’s sleigh crashes at 1.02x? Yes, absolutely. Would I sit up all night on Christmas Eve, sipping sherry and playing this game? Yes, absolutely.
