This is unmistakably a Christmas-themed slot. Although there’s no music between spins, a high-tempo rendition of Jingle Bells plays on repeat during the feature.

Regular Symbols
Ten regular symbols exist, six of which are based on traditional playing card icons 9 through A. These take the form of brightly-colored Christmas gifts, and rewards are paid for landing three, four or five on a payline.
Four higher-paying regular symbols are very much in keeping with the theme. Santa’s beautiful house offers 500x the line bet for five-of-a-kind, while a bound-and-gagged elf, presumably Rudolph’s first victim, pays the same.
Another elf, frozen in a block of ice, and a tied up Santa Claus round things off, paying 1,000x and 2,000x for five. However, you only need two of these each to collect a prize of 5x.
Scatters
A gift box tied in a red ribbon serves as the scatter. On closer inspection, though, it’s actually a bomb. Collecting at least three of these triggers the Free Games feature, but they also pay prizes of their own.
As a scatter symbol, they don’t need to be on a payline. Simply land two, three, four or five anywhere on the reels to win 2x, 3x, 5x and 20x the total stake.
Substitute
A badass looking Rudolph is the Substitute, which is basically a wild symbol. He’ll act as any symbol apart from the scatter to help you win. The usual rewards are doubled if a Substitute features in the winning combination.
What’s more, the Substitute also offers prizes. Drop two, three or four onto a payline for rewards of 15x, 150x and 1,500x the line bet. During Free Games, five symbols pays 5,000x.
Progressive Jackpot

Rudolph’s Revenge Review – Our Final Verdict
There’s no getting away from the fact that Rudolph’s Revenge is old. The cartoonish graphics are pleasant enough, but they simply don’t compare to modern slots. Similarly, the primitive sound effects and lack of music between spins may have been fine in 2011, but it’s not today.
However, if you can get past the aesthetics, this is a pretty entertaining game. We loved the concept of a cigar-chomping Rudolph snapping and refusing to play ball any longer. He looks especially menacing when tapping his baseball bat in one of the fun animations that plays after a win.
There are no complex features here – you can’t even change the bet size – which makes it ideal for newcomers. And it’s just the perfect way to enjoy some casual slots action during the holiday season.
