Regular Symbols

Scatters

Bonus Game

In the bonus game, landing two, three, four or five scatter symbols results in three, five, seven or nine additional free spins. During this round, alien symbols randomly shoot ray guns at human icon meters to the right of the reels. 

Starting with the sheriff, then on to the waitress, grandma and the farmer, each meter is filled by a total of 10 zaps. Once a meter is full, the corresponding symbol transforms into an alien for the rest of the bonus round. You’ll also earn an extra free spin when each meter is filled.

The Zap Attack Review – Our Final Verdict

When it comes to alien-themed slots, many developers simply slap cartoonish UFO graphics onto some basic gameplay mechanics. There’s certainly nothing revolutionary about the bonus features found in the Thunderkick’s Zap Attack slot. But the developer does at least tell us a complete story around this sci-fi theme. 

In addition, the introduction of aesthetically pleasing animations and a thoroughly enjoyable soundtrack makes for a thrilling experience. However, on the rewards side of things, Thunderkick fails to impress. 

The game’s RTP is fairly average, coming in at 96.15%. While the maximum win of 5,000x is even lower than some of its older titles. Pink Elephants, for instance, which dates back to 2017, has a top payout of 8,200x. Overall though, despite the somewhat disappointing potential returns, Zap Attack is a fun slot to play.
